Company History

Suzanne Engels founded WebArtNTech in 2002, after 21+ years at Bell Labs where she led engineering development teams in software architecture, data modeling, programming, website design, software testing and maintenance throughout the U.S. and Europe.

Website design may seem unrelated to designing optical and digital long-haul transmission software systems - but a website is more than a pretty screen. Companies, large and small, view their websites and web applications as key elements of their marketing strategy, customer service and support systems, and enterprise-wide infrastructure.

Suzanne has a BFA in Fine Arts-Sculpture from the University of Illinois, an AAS in Digital Electronics and an MS in Computer Science from Boston University. In addition to her software engineering experience, she has taught university classes and web seminars to hundreds of small business owners & entrepreneurs, teaching in English rather than geek-speak.

Her experience with website design and applications began in 1995. Since then she has designed and consulted for dozens and dozens of business websites, large and small.
